Andy Hamilton, hydrologist for the BLM Klamath Falls Field Office, will present the wetland studies and management regime that was designed to establish an emergent wetland plant community in the Wood River Wetlands that were part of the former subsided ranchlands.

Description:
All day trip to the Clear Lake area to view high desert bird species, including Sage Thrasher, Ash-throated Flycatcher, Gray Flycatcher, Lark, Brewer's, Vesper, and possibly Sage Sparrows, Loggerhead Shrike, and Mountain Bluebird among others. Departure time: 7:00 AM, from the USF&WS office parking lot, California St., Klamath Falls. Bring water, snacks, lunch, hat, suncreen, binoculars, and quality scope would be helpful.
